display events even if I haven't yet accepted them.
similar to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook:
if someone schedule an event and is adding me as an attendant, I see the event but without any background color (only border).

Completely agree. This is the main reason I don't use this as my primary calendar. Especially when travelling, I use my phone more than my laptop, and can't afford to miss meetings.
