Error adding Google account "Cancel ExecuteRequest"

The title of the post is the error message that comes up when I try to add my Gmail calendars to the app. They were stuck in a perpetual sync so I tried removing them and adding them again and now they won't work at all, despite clearing cache, data, and reinstalling the app. Please help!

Since posting, this was resolved with some help from support! The fix is changing your default browser on your phone to Google Chrome. In my case, it already was set to Chrome, so I changed it to something else and then back to Chrome and it worked.
