CalDAV can write but not read with fastmail.com

Hi,

I added a CalDAV account from fastmail.com but am in the peculiar situation where it shows no appointments -- but I can add an appointment and it will show up on my other fastmail clients.  Why would writing but not reading work?

I do have the same problem, CalDAV events are not showing even after multiple retries. At times the sync ends with message saying it encountered X errors.

It turns out that I have to sync it multiple times to get all appointments, which makes it somewhat untrustworthy.
