Should anyone else arrive here with this issue. Check your Zoho calendar is set to sync -the first calendar within an account should by default. Then add the calendar as 'https://calendar.zoho.com/' not the fully-qualified address that can be found buried in Zoho's settings. Some clients such as Thunderbird do require full qualification.
