ERROR on adding or opening event detail

After updating to application version v4.5.0 build: 4.5.0 the following error is displayed upon attempting to add a new event or tapping an existing event to edit or view the details:

Error
An unexpected error occurred in the application.  Please closet the app and restart it.

Tapping OK closes the app.  Upon restarting the same behavior occurs.  
Happens with ANY event on every calendar (local, subscribed, and remote).

This behavior renders the application useless.

(iOS 15.7.4 iPhone)

Please advise.
