There should really be a solution for iOS without using MS or Google.

Hi,

If you have a Microsoft account for your calendars:
Please go to https://outlook.live.com/calendar using your Microsoft account. Then on the bottom left select “Discover calendars”, then add the holiday calendar for your country. It will now also be visible in OneCalendar.

If you have a Google account for your calendars:
Please go to https://www.google.com/calendar using your Google account. Then on the bottom left select "+" at Other calendars. Then select "Browse calendars of interest", then add the holiday calendar you are interested in. It will now also be visible in OneCalendar.
