changes in individual instances of repeated appointments in Google Calendar not shown in Windows App

When I make a recurring appointment in a Google Calendar, and then change one individual instance of those, this change does not show in the Windows App, but it does show in Google and in the iOs OneCalendar app. It doesn't matter what it is: a change in date, the description, the time, ANYTHING.

It doesn't matter where I make the change: iOs, Windows, or Google itself.

If I make the change to the individual appointment in the windows App, I see the change for less than a second on my screen, but then it syncs and when that's done, the change seems to be gone. However, it is still there in Windows and in the iOs app.

It seems that the WIndows App does just does not show changes in individual appointments that are part of a recurring appointment. It does make changes, just not show them.
